The Top Of The Hill Restaurant recently hosted their first wedding in Chapel Hill as a conclusion to a wedding contest called “Marry Me Ron Stutts.” Both the wedding reception and ceremony were broadcast live in the newly renovated Back Bar and Great Room at The Top of the Hill on Franklin Street. The contest featured the winners (Celeste and Ryan Evans) who were chosen out of 127 couples to win a wedding provided by many of the areas most talented wedding vendors.
Both Celeste and Ryan were well deserving of this wedding as they’ve both recently went through some rough times. The wedding day was wonderful though and I had a chane to meet a lot of energetic and upbeat attendees! I’m happy to present the wedding photo album of the special days events and wish the couple the best years to come!
Cake: Sugarland
Makeup & Hair: Mina’s Studio
Music: The Flabbergasters + Cafe Mars
Tuxes: Julians

I really liked this photos of the brides mother helping her with her veil.

Ryan and Celeste share their reactions to the wedding live on the radio.

Scott Maitland is the owner of The Top of the Hill and shared a great story on the history of the original restaurant and brewery as well as the new renovations and addition of The Great Room.

I really like these two photos of the kids drawing on the wall in the Back Room Bar.

A beautiful cake provided by Sugarland in Chapel Hill.

Time to cut it though!

Charlotte is a great wedding singer. I had a chance to meet her at Winterfest last year and it was great to see (and hear) her again.

The Flabbergasters and Cafe Mars cranked out some excellent funky tunes to get down too!

Their wedding date was 8-1-10 so I decided to try some creative photos with both the couple and their wedding bands.

The bridal party had a chance to play some foosball at the end of the wedding. Both the guys and the girls were pretty evenly matched!
