It was another beautiful day for an October wedding at the Chapel Hill Bible Church. Sarah and Robert had a traditional and meaningful ceremony that was accented with personal touches such as music from their wedding guests. They also had two officiants that led the service inside the beautiful and spacious church and the words that were spoken really seemed to resonate well.
I have five weddings this October and this is the second one so far that features red. Sarah’s bouquet was red roses and her bridesmaids dresses matched perfectly. The entire bridal party was a blast. One moment that stuck out in my mind was when Sarah’s entourage sang “Going to the Chapel” to the videographer as they were getting ready. I must be honest that they sounded great (even the harmony). The musical talent runs high in this group!
They had four flower girls that were some of the cutest I’ve seen. It was all I could do to not take pictures of just them the entire day.
After they were married we all headed to La Residence on Franklin Street. Some refer to it as “La Res.” Dad and friends gave heartfelt toasts and then everyone danced and danced… and then they danced some more. The food was amazing and the space was perfect for their moderately sized wedding.
So on with the images…
I love the flower petals that are sewn into the girls dresses.

I really enjoyed the way Sarah and Rob incorporated their friends into the wedding music. I believe they had 2 different guests play piano and 3 other guests sing and play guitar. They sounded really professional!

All this wedding stuff can make any girl tired!

All the guests were wowed by this non traditional father daughter dance complete with 70′s boogie moves

This is my favorite picture of Robert. Like most guys, he was touching his wedding band throughout the night. Even though he looked up at the camera I managed to catch him in this genuine relaxed moment…

I must say that sometimes the garter just gets no respect! :) This featherweight leg hugger was so light that when Rob tossed it, it never made it to the lineup of guys… Well eventually it did with a little help from Sarah. This guys excitement to be next to be married is almost palpable.

I wish I would have been able to hear this story

I know I have a lot of flowergirl photos but this one made me laugh.

You’re never too old to give someone bunny ears… and you’re never to old to catch someone in the act and give their arm a good tweaking!

Can you guess what game they’re playing?

Girls just wanna have fun!

There’s always time to share a dance with your guests.
