Boston New England Blizzard 2013 – Nemo Hits NE

Recently Boston and the surrounding New England area was rendered immobile (at least by vehicle and MBTA) after the blizzard Nemo delivered over two feet of snow. The powerful “snowicane” changed our neighborhood landscape into an urban winter wonderland. I just moved here three months ago and have already been hit by a hurricane, the flu, and now a mega snowstorm! Of course, this was the most enjoyable of the three by far. I really felt like a kid again!

I hope you’ll enjoy a few of these photos taken the day after. I really wish I could have taken more and traveled to other parts of the city but I was on a pretty short timeline and it difficult to get around.

I’ve really enjoyed viewing everyone’s wonderful photos from all of the different parts of New England. If your car is buried under any of these snow humps I hope you’re able to dig it out soon. Stay safe and warm this week!

These brothers devised a much easier way to get down brownstone stairs. I was joking with them that they should install a ski lift and charge as a winter “lemonade stand” idea.
