Event Planner / Mother of The Bride (A Referral Email)

When I first met Denise (the mother of the bride) and her daughter Courtney, I could tell that they were a class act with high standards. They were well organized and asked me all the important questions that define dedicated professional photographers. As always I was excited when they chose me as their photographer.

Then, on the day of the wedding I found out that Denise is also an event planner. I told her I was honored to have “made the cut.” I also discovered that one of the bridesmaids is a photographer near the Outer Banks. I realized why she expected nothing but the best from each and every one of her wedding vendors.

Their whole family was warm and outgoing and you could tell that they all cared for each other deeply. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome so I must be honest that I wasn’t surprised to get this uplifting email from Denise a few weeks later.

“Dear Craig,

I received my DVDs in the mail today. While I’ve not had time to look at all 900+ images, I just wanted to thank you for your work. As I’ve probably told you before, I was very careful choosing the vendors we invited to be a part of Courtney’s wedding. I wanted a caterer, florist, photographer, etc. who would not only do excellent work, but would be kind to my guests and treat others with respect. I received MANY comments from our family and friends about you on Courtney’s wedding day. “How did you find the photographer?” “He’s really good at what he does.” “He was everywhere taking pictures but didn’t get in anyone’s way at all.”

Thank you for not only working so hard at our wedding, but for being a pleasure to have with us as a guest on this special day. You are hardworking, kind, courteous and have great respect for the people you work with. May God bless you in your life and career.”

With kindest regards,
Denise
